Just thought I would stop by and introduce myself. My name is Sailfindragon. I own SailfinSims.com and the SailfinSims Network which hosts www.freesimsfinds.com, www.coolsims.net and www.hueshiftaddicts.com. Hue-Shift Addicts is still under construction. However stop by and check for updates.

I am a creator who loves to mesh, web-design, graphics and anything remotely creative. I am also a big Sims 2 and 3 fan. I just wish I had more time to play.

LJ - Oh yes, I am a big time mesher. I mostly mesh buy and build mode objects. Not really into meshing clothing or hair. I would mesh all day, if I had the time.

Ditto! I can mesh clothes, but it can get quite complicated, and Hair is just a ''No-Go'' area for me.
But yeah, I do mostly Buy Mode stuff too!

It is nice to meet another mesher like myself. What program do you use to mesh? I use Maya. I have 3ds Max, but very rarely use that.

I am currently running a meshing class for a couple of my staff, it seems to be going well. My evil plan to get them all meshing is slowly paying off.

Ghah I wish i could mesh!
I tried to follow several tutorials, but i seem to get stuck with every single tutorials.
I'm pretty much a newbie with those 3D programs.

I have Wings 3D and Milkshape installed on my computer.
Also got 3D max, but I haven't installed that one yet.

I keep getting stuck once you can edit the mesh.. changing shapes and so on

I use Milkshape 3D. Never tried Maya, but I did use 3ds Max for a while, but I found things that I find simple in MS3D were more difficult in 3ds. I guess whichever program you learn with at the start will always be the one you'll find easier to use....

Howdy Sailfindragon  I tried meshing ONCE! and that was enough, lol. I'll stick to recoloring all the wonderful meshes by fabulous creators such as yourself!
