Hunter Says Hello!

[Hunter of Basic]

Hello All -

I'm Hunter from Basic For Sims.   Basic is a forum with hundreds of free downloads for your Sims 2.   There are also storytellers, games, challenges and just a friendly community.   I've been Simming for quite a few years now, but just tried my hand at creating a couple of years ago.   My goal one day (when I grow up  ) is to be HALF as good as Samira is with her creations.

Sims is a passion of mine.   I love the game.   I love creating.   I love the community.

Basic had been affiliated with Samira before and when she left the Sims community for awhile - I truly did miss her and her fabulous creations.  Imagine my pleasant surprise and delight when she returned and asked me to affiliate with her again.   It was a true honor.

I'm happy to be here - I think Samira's creations are absolutely some of the finest I've ever seen and I really hope everyone rallies around her and makes this site what it deserves to be.   Successful.

I look forward to schmoozing with everyone - I've already ran into a few friends!!

Samira - I personally want to thank you for finding me again and affiliating.   I wish you the best with this forum - You're already off to a roaring start!

Awh Hunter! Been reading your introduction over and over. I'm just really speechless.
Your creations are already super awesome. My simmies mostly wear Basic clothes. Just love them!

I hope that Colour Sims will be a success in the future. I really hope!

You have totally made my day Sami.   Coming from you - I couldn't think of a nicer compliment.

 


Eileen - You've made my day as well!  Thank you so much for the kind words!   I try to make an effort to be nice (although I feel others deserve trophies for it) because I don't understand meanness in the Sims community.   It's an awesome game that is meant to be fun - and I think everything around it should be fun too.   

When I first began creating and before I learned about Screen Saver software that enables me to take better creation photos - I submitted some things to a very well known creator in the Sims community.   She "laughed" at my efforts and made fun of my using the ingame camera for my screen shots.    Although I held my chin up and moved up and on - I swore no matter how successful I got in the community - I would NEVER make another person feel the way I felt that day.

I'm so glad that Sami has created another nice place for us Fabulous and Friendly Simmers to be.
