Author Topic: I hate my Sims 3 Game. (Read 1713 times)

Yerr.. It happened yesterday.
I wanted to play Sims 3 for a bit cause I had nothing else to do, and my game said there was an update available.
So my thoughts were like "Okay.. I'll install..". I made a backup of my downloads before I agreed to download & install the patch. Afterwards the game said there were more update available. I thought my game already had all the updates.. Guess not.
So I also installed those. After I was done , I done the usual thing putting downloads back and so on.

But as soon the game was finished downloading and got arrived at my family..
All the downloads were missing.. While I did everything right!

I even can't install new downloads now, it's saying with every little thing that it's already installed on my computer.. While they're not. It doesn't make sense..

Did EA screw stuff up again?
I honestly have no idea how to fix this, tried to look on the net, but I guess I'm just one simple blind mole.
It's not that I had much downloads, mainly Sims 3 store items and a few patterns. But still..

This sure is so frustrating!

I hate mine so much, I'm using the disc's as coasters.

And no Marie-B, I didn't manage to fix my Sims3 issue. But it doesn't matter anymore now either.

I understand sweetie , hear so there are a lot of things to explore in TS3 you have all the time you want to fix and play the game (all life long even)

Even though I don't like the game Ed...I would never use the 45 Euros disk as a coaster...
But it's a unique idea...I can tell...

It is an interesting idea.

I've never had a game give me so many problems...

I just unistalled it tossed the boxes and sit my drink on the disc.

Very handy!

Hmmm...Imagine installing and uninstall Sims 2 evertime you want to play...

I have so many CCs and I can't leave without 'em...So I prefer to install my game with all the 20 GB of CCs and then do it again the next day...

Imagine you...You would be like that

with a game like mine...

Even though I got a new computer, I still keep my Custom Content to a minimum. My old computer, I couldn't have more than 500MB or my Virtual Memory kicked in.

Now, on this computer, I keep my Custom Content just under 1GB. I have 6GB of memory.

That Sims 3 game caused nothing but stress. No BodyShop which had to be the dumbest idea. That's a long story unto itself.

I have build my pc that way in order to handle the Sims 2 and any other game...
My Ram is 8 GB
My Hard Disks are more than 1 TerraByte
Intel Core Duo 3.00GHz each...but still nothing...And I acn't live with my CCs...

I'm the same way....I cannot live without my Slim BodyBuilders and BodyBuilders. Way too much stuff for them......

I want them all...Buy mode, Build mode, Body shop all in once...I can see either my game or pc to slap me in the face for pushing them that hard...Ooh...add a car slap too...

Cars are a different story...I've downloaded so many from Fresh Prince over at MTS. I like the Rolls Royce.

I seem to download windows and doors more than anything. So much variety!

I guess I'm really lucky...my comp and the game work rather well together

...of course apart from the very odd, occasional complete *meep*-ups built in by EA.

If I would have as much trouble as you Chrisa I would have given up the game ages ago... but I'm afraid my game and comp agree with yours in terms of slapping me for making them handle all that CC.

After downloading stuff and not having it work for so long on my old computer, I have the habit of staring at that green bar as it goes across the screen. Once I see it pass that one saying, Over Waxing Banisters, I breathe easier.

Granted, I have every EP, but what can I say. Old habits die hard.

But, I still think what you said is funny! lol
