She informed me of that horror by pm, I've just know the new some minute ago.
I posted almost the same topic at black pearl sims.
They don't seem to give credit of none of  the free creations they steal and share freely , browse the forum to check if your creations aren't in the list and share the new with everybody on every forums and friends you visit.
I don't know how to react face to this behaviour,I'm completely outraged and furious.I'm on the 'Oh ***!mood now, so astounded to see this s***

I don't think there is much you can do...and it won't even help to make people aware of this theft, they are not the first site that does it and not the last either and the owners of the site sure as hell don't give a dime for anybodies opinion on their behavior. I think caring about it would be a waste of energy. The fun part is they don't even edit the pics to make sure no one finds out they stole the content.
So apparently what you can do is make sure your pics include info about your ownership and hope that people will figure out that the site they downloaded the content from doesn't own it and go looking for the real author to get more stuff.
By the way, Simscave is opperating with a very similar style: You don't publish your content in a language that people from the western world understand, you are bound to have your content end up there, however they do give credit. Nothing against Sims Cave I love the site and I use it a lot but it means I cannnot complain about others doing the same thing.

Edit: Just went seraching on the site, it's exactly as I thought a Russian content sharing without credits but you can read between the lines of the diclaimer that it is not there content you'll find in the threads but that of non-russian sites.

1st : I was persuaded this topic were locked some days ago before the complete changing of CS layout (I did it but it seemed to be re-opened maybe somebody ask for it) just because it's an old conversasion I opened myself everywhere I can to beware people about this such crap site, I was alarmed to see free sites could be touched by the piracy too at that time I couldn't imagine a such threat could touch us.
And I thought of somebody could know where their creations are also shared  for the transparency of the web , of course we can't do anything but we must know . After,people thinks their opinions about a such disaster.Yes we create for having fun but some people must be completely upset to see their creations stolen as some others don't care , we don't have the same vision of ethic due to several factors we won't debate on here .Good to know some people aren't bothered at all to see such sites .
At least I did that for the transparency of the web.

2nd : Especially the phenomenom is much widespread with the coming of the sims 3 and the haymaking of creations for this game.That disgusting , even if this way is starting to concern people to say this truth about in the sims 3 community, plus now Adfly cames and that's another problem for every of us.
(that's the reason why I won't create for the sims 3 )
In addtion to that hear so EA changed their EULA , it doesn't smell good for free creators.We must learn more about this before speaking about that.

Now I'm more grown about this question than a year,and the only behaviour I felt is powerlesness ! Face to piracy and the freedom of the Internet,we can't have any protective laws to prevent such behaviours, the international laws can't protect us efficiently (they aren't able to protect a movie from piracy themselves so our datas and private life -no comment-  !!) , except the fact we can stop to share our creations or to email thiefs to give us credit or to delete our contents things only a few do, we can't do anything else more.
Being put out silently now none of TOU are respected.So since I reduce my policies to the strict minimum .I'm fed up to fight for nothing I know which words I put on my policies won't be followed and respected .

Lizzy : It doesn't surprised me at all that Second life is also pirated and there is a such black market under this game too, it's just horrible for creators especially free one.

  what a buch of bloody freeloaders as we say in OZ..or bludgers...I had a look at a few pages but couldnt see any of my stuff, there was simply styling, and cassandras stuff there and a heap more...
what a flippin cheek these bludgers have..but as u say..theres not much we can do, i will try the watermark thingy, like they have on some textures on the net you have to buy..

Kweenie, I got echoes that Russian sites don't just steal from free Sims sites. But also some pay CC. More recently from a few + 18 Sims 2/3 forums where you need to be a member.

Yes I am aware too they mainly steal clothes, most asking pay content and hairs.But about paysite even if I feel bad to download them freely at the booty , I know I'm not legal with creators , despite of that it helps people to have content.And the most aweful thing is to pay for cc and share them back freely.That's something I never do.(just this time for the nanu cushion I used for my Uk set)
I won't repeat it in the future if I share custom pay content stuff.

The also steal sex content uhla ! they don't have mercy.

Whereas they share them freely completely.

completely agree with you it's sad but these creators felt alone face to the hacking we all victims and we start to begin paranoid . I have a sad experience in September (I wasn't really in the community but I downloaded at odd moments) I unfairly argued someone who created paintings with the same textures + one I don't use, I created my shoe paintings ,for the S3, I felt so so bad.
Fortunately the misunderstood is over.
I learnt from this person she is also the victim of hackers and she understood my anger (she doesn't accused me at all), all the evidences she brought to me made me feel so awful so shameful.(nope she didn't converted the painting i used she only used the same textures found in the same site than me but she painted an EAxis painting with)
Stealing makes people crazy they should stop !

Yes thiefs destroy us , destroy the envy to become a creator and destroyed the Will Wright philosophy's. Creating for sharing for the love of the game.

Halas a such situation happened to me so I know plenty of other people else can fall from the trape! I'm a friendly person though I can't understand a such behaviour , their goal is to ruin us only .

About Asian sites I know the problem well, I don't mind to open an account on such sites, I don't speak and understand any Asian languages, hear so they don't accept foreigners and they don't accept lurkers if you're a lurker you download nothing.
You need points or a certain number of posts to download.Something hard to grab, plus they should add more protective issues I ignore.(and 85% of their creations I don't like lol)
About Russian sites , I don't really care of them , except some you can download some stuffs.Maybe some only list all the wonderful ccs to guide downloader , giving credit isn't enough , give the good link the creation is with is far better.Some anti pays sites do that especially for free ccs.

Other point,sites that share sims 2 and sims 3 games are against international laws , that's not a bother for us only for EA.
And the problem you pointed at is sadly true for the sims 3 content and maybe when you recolour an EAxis objects with simpe, hacks too aren't not very well welcomed to EA.I think the true problem are paysite themselves they aren't not affliated to EA, so they shouldn't make any sims content paid.
Paysite is only EA , that's normal the sims are their own brand,they has the right to make bussness with objects, but the rest is just make people for a fool !

All right EA won't help and won't debate about ccs and about pirat copies.

We shouldn't stop to create because of some unfair players who always steal people's creations , for many reasons.
Our determination to continue to create is the strengh and the only way to break them.It's seems to be crazy but if everyone stops they win the fight . They won't win on us.

About dara's sims I downloaded some stuffs for both games before she turned her CCs paid.I don't know if I've got the dinning you want .

No I have never blamed any countries on that talk , I just pointed out some problems we can meet around the community could have if they visit some or some sites . That's the truth and obviously truth hurts people.I'm a bit disappointed you really think I'm blaming russian sites or asian sites . I don't care of them I just think unbelievable free sites are copied without creators agreement that's all ! They are free to come to the sims community they know the rules , they aren't silly as they pretend to be, only a handle of them are thiefs I never blame and we never talk about sites who shares the creations of their own?

Just more one thing   : Indeed,the protective forums Asian/east europe (out of the UE) sites have is because of the censorship of the Internet. I have ever heard that the sims is banned somewhere in the world , these governements allow people to share creations and to talk about that game as long as they don't talk about politics , democracy or human rights.So forums are protected from foreigners only for protect their own little free liberty space , I know some Western people are a danger for that kind of forum. Some of us won't hesitate to criticize their president their politics and that's not good for them. We should leave them alone as long as they don't steal free creators creations without our agreement. However  that's why I have never think of being a member of Gamesir for instance .I plus I don't need to get everything the whole internet got for my sims .
I completely know that fact I read newspapers on line and I watch the news on TV ! thank you !!
