Lavendula

*updated 12.11.2010: M&G Quarter-Tile-Placement is fixed now for all meshes of the set.

I stumbled across this vase at the store I work and thought I'd like to have that in my game and thanks to Tami's Meshing Lesson I now can. :yahoo:
I thought one mesh would be lonely all by itself, so I thought up some more matching thingies.

Included are:

  • Vase in 3 sizes
repositoried, 2 sub-sets (base & top), OFB shelf ready, Basegame compatible
522 faces
2 extra recolours for the base & top

  • Plate in 3 sizes
repositoried, 2 sub-sets (base & finish), 1 decorative slot, OFB shelf ready, Basegame compatible
Small & Medium: 316 faces, Large: 436 faces
2 extra recolours for the base & 6 recolours for the finish

  • Lavender Bouquet
OFB shelf ready, Basegame compatible
1076 faces
1 extra recolour

  • Lavender Single Stalk
OFB shelf ready, Basegame compatible
544 faces

Recolours:

Collections (BG & Pets) are availiable separately.

Known issues/Notes:

Plates: I split them into two subsets because I wanted different materials for the finish and the base. The round look on the plates however is created by texture, meaning the finish texture has a rim matching the base texture.
Therefore they are not freely mix & match.
If you want to recolour the plates and keep the settings of the mesh (matte base and envcube reflection for the finish) darken your base texture by 30% for the finish texture to make them match.

M&G Quarter-Tile-Placement: Though all of the items are cloned from three Basegame objetcs that work correctly with M&G some of the objects (Lavender Bouquet, Small Vase, Medium Vase) are not affected by the cheat.
If anyone knows how to fix this, please let me know. Right now it just seems random to me.

OMG!  Tanja, are you sure you're just starting out with meshing?  They look amazing!  I love real lavender, it always reminds me if simpler times.  What a gorgeous set... thank you!

I did a little research last night into the depths of the OBJD files and figured what to change to make a mesh work correctly with M&G's placement cheat. All meshes that didn't work with it before are fixed now.

Thank you Chrisa for my avi & siggi!
